Of the sugar sweet times
Now, as black as the coffee
And as empty as the mug
Shivering in the hot winter cold

The moon breathes your warm breath
And the sun holds all your cold
My unwavering faith intact
Safe beneath all these layers i hold

Deep in your cocoon
You hold the colours i long for
The rainbow of my life
Right there sparkling in your eyes

I shed this salt water
To let you go off my mind
But every droplet brings you closer
To the soul buried deep inside.
