Artwork rip-off?
I usually don't care about these things. Especially create something similar to my work without any credit, people copying my paintings, people posting my work without permission, people posting it on their blog with poetry or whatever. After about a decade of making art, you eventually get tired of pointing things out.
But then there are these straight-up rip-offs that I can't ignore.

It's especially sad when a person has skills but doesn't want to come up with their own original ideas and thinks it's OK to blatantly copy someone else's work then hope no one notices.
Calling out for mentees
Hey all!
So I've got some time on my hands and thought I could mentor a few people in both photo-manipulation art and drawing/watercolor painting. I will be creating a Facebook group for it as I am not too active on dA anymore. So you must have a Facebook account. If any of you are interested, please let me know. I will only be taking a few mentees at the moment.
Additionally, if you have any requests for a tutorial, let me know.
Oh and a quick question, I just realized, no DDs at the bottom. Is that the new dA thing? No DD thumbnails on all pages?

Falling in love again
Hello everyone! It has been a while since I updated my journal here. I haven't been a lot active on dA lately. I have just been uploading art on and off and disappearing. Those of you who follow me on facebook mostly know what I've been up to. For those who don't this is what has been going on.
I have lately been falling in love with art again and rediscovering it. After a while on dA, I started to realize that this was becoming more of a popularity contest. Getting less to hardy any faves started to become upsetting. And because I usually tried to create from my heart and what was not hot and popular at the time, it got a bit more upsetting
